【SMART CLOTHING STORE HARAJUKU】

A long-established casual fashion shop beloved for over a quarter of a century.

Today, Harajuku has become renowned throughout the world as the epicenter of Japanese fashion. Sitting smack down in the center of this area is Smart Clothing Store Harajuku, a casual fashion shop that was established 25 years ago. Known by its nickname “Sma-Clo,” they currently have four locations in addition to their Harajuku shop in Machida, Hiroshima and Fukuoka. Starting with Pherrow’s, their selection of international and domestic brands are primarily based on American casual wear. The store is especially beloved by its long-time fans due to their selection of standard items. The diverse range of items carefully selected by their unique sense matching perfectly with their customers’ needs for over 25 years is a huge part of their success.

Jeans are universally known as the ultimate standard in casual styles. The original jeans by Pherrow’s are designed with a unique pattern that has been customized to match the typical Japanese body shape to provide extreme comfort and texture.

One of Smart Clothing Store’s strengths is their selection of workwear and military featuring universal designs. As a contrast to the ever-evolving trends developed in Harajuku, their selection of basic wear that can be worn in any generation is a breath of fresh air.

The comforting wood-based interior space is decorated with an array of industrial antique fixtures such as the iron circle rack where the items are put on display. You can see their attention to detail with interior accessories such as a vintage globe and trunk case.

The “Made in Japan” steel toe Oxford shoe is a Pherrow’s original model.

Shoes from Jalan Sriwijaya, a brand that was founded in Indonesia in 1919. After studying the art of shoemaking in Northampton, England, their shoes have been created with the hand sewn welted method.

The new arrival of items from LHN, a silver accessory brand based in Brooklyn, New York. The brand is known for constantly creating unique and original designs.
